BTW by the time period that Aliens takes place in the Predators operate at a marked disadvantage to Humans. The best treatment of this was in the Dark Horse Comics. Which is why the Predators observe certain boundries of honor when fighting humans, but not when fighting Aliens (IE They do not attack Human young or females typically, however they will wipe out entire hives of xenomorphs). Humans on the other hand are considered the ultimate "soft meat" becuase they have no natural weapons but possess cunning that is worthy of respect, hunting humans is considered far more honorable then hunting Xenomorphs.
A Yaunta (predator) needs to kill one before it is considered an adult (Well a Male does, the Female Yaunta stay on the home planet and are so unpleasent to be around that the Males only return from hunting briefly to mate). Actually the xenomorphs (Aliens) are considered "Hard Meat" becuase they have natural armour and weapons but little intelligence.
